The anti-maoist position on Chavez and bureaucratic capitalism of the MCP of Italy

This time the mask has fallen, and the revisionist Maoist Communist Party of Italy doesn't even pretend to defend the classical position of Maoism.

When the Maoists raised the banner of Communism against soviet revisionism in the 1960's and 1970's in Africa, South America and Asia, they all considered that their oppressed countries were semi-feudal and semi-colonial.

This is what Siraj Sikder thought in Bangladesh, this is what Akram Yari thought in Afghanistan. This is what Charu Mazumdar and Kanai Chatterjee thought in India, this is what Ibrahim Kaypakkaya thought in Turkey. And of course this is what Gonzalo thought in Peru.

Many others leaders in many others countries thought in the same scientific way. Only revisionists (with “neo-colonialism”), guevarists (“dependent country”), hoxhaists and trotskyists (“weak capitalist country”) had a different conception.

So, Maoists in the world always considered Hugo Chàvez as the main actor of the semi-feudalism, of bureaucratic capitalism in its country, Venezuela.

In its position yesterday following the death of Hugo Chàvez, the Maoist Communist Party of Italy expressed a clear revisionist line.

Here is what the Maoist Communist Party of Italy said:

-on the death of Chavez - Yankee imperialism hands off from Latin America

Chavez is a fighter against American imperialism, in defense of the national independence of Venezuela in a context of struggle throughout all Latin America.

He deserves respect and honor for this and it is right that large masses of poor in Venezuela, Latin America and other parts of the world to greet him.

It is important to denounce and combat today the role of American imperialism - perhaps with his own death – which is trying to get one's hands on Venezuela.

that said
Chavez makes no representation of the proletariat, nor of the Communists, nor the genuine anti-imperialists, neither in Venezuela, nor in the world and therefore are completely out of place, on this occasion, the positions of celebrations and praisings spread by trotskyites groups and false Communists - in Italy also the neo-revisionist degenerated group and electoralist carc-NPCI.

Such a position means clearly that the Maoist Communist Party of Italy considers that Hugo Chàvez was a national bourgeois, a “patriot”, that Venezuela was “independent”, that Chavez was a reformist which helped the poor.

It is a frank anti-Maoist position. It is a position against dialectical materialism, against the struggles of Maoists in Africa, Asia and South America.

It is another proof that the centrist line of the Maoist Communist Party of Italy is populist, anti-scientific, in the spirit of sorelian “revolutionary” syndicalism.
